JACKSON VAUGHN AGENCY INC.
 was established in 1969 by
the merger of two long-standing
Ponchatoula insurance agencies.
Jackson-Vaughan Agency currently
has two locations that serve
both Tangipahoa and southern
St. Tammany parishes with an
emphasis on extraordinary service.
The primary office is located
at 121 West Pine Street (Main
Street) in the heart of historic
downtown Ponchatoula. The
satellite office is on Highway 22
in Madisonville. The Madisonville
location was added in 2010.
Approximately 75% of the business
that Jackson-Vaughan writes
is commercial insurance, while
25% is personal. There is an experienced
sales staff of three with
more than 70 years of combined
insurance work to help guide
their clients. The agency has five
 

members that have received their
Certified Insurance Counselor
designation. The seven members
of the support staff have combined
experience of more than 90
years to help achieve our service
goals.
The agency specializes in small
to medium-sized businesses with
an emphasis on contractors. However,
we currently handle several
large accounts where we feel we
have the expertise to provide
value-added services.
The agency has been a leader
in the insurance industry in the
Tangipahoa area for more than 40
years. Likewise, it has been active
in the chamber of commerce and
other civic groups such as Rotary.
We believe that community
involvement goes hand-in-hand
with providing knowledge-based
advice to our clients.
